AZ Med/Surg Flexible Day Shift — Travel RN assignment in a surgery center setting in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 04/06/2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $1,824–$1,959. Shift: 3x12-hour days. This role requires a registered nurse with at least 2 years of acute or sub-acute experience and current licensure. Orientation occurs every two weeks. Housing options are available (shared housing; $600 per month; no family or pets; housing app due two weeks prior to start). COVID and Flu exemptions may be considered with a completed declination form.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for medical/surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation per orders and facility policies
- Administer medications and IV therapies, monitor responses, and manage IV fluids and analgesia
- Monitor vital signs, recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, and initiate interventions per BLS/ACLS as required
- Assist with procedures, wound care, post-operative care, and other nursing duties within a Med/Surg setting
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team; document accurately in the electronic health record
- Provide patient and family education and assist with discharge planning to support safe transitions of care

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment as a travel nurse
