Accounting Clerk LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a company in Downtown Phoenix. This company is in search of an accounting clerk to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday, fully onsite.
This full-time, onsite role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Prior experience in the construction industry is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
- Assist with job costing and billing support
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues
- Some college preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, specifically AP and AR
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Construction industry experience is highly preferred
