Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a self-contained classroom setting. This contract role operates on a school year calendar and is scheduled four days per week, Monday through Thursday, providing focused instruction and support to a class of 11 students with the assistance of 2 paraprofessionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students within a self-contained middle school classroom
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure an effective and supportive learning environment
• Develop and implement IEPs in pliance with state regulations
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching techniques to maximize learning outes
• Foster social and emotional development alongside academic growth

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Possession of an active Arizona Special Education teaching license
• Experience working in a middle school special education setting preferred
• Strong munication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and support staff
