Java Developer

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team and make an immediate impact on our products and engineering practices. In this role, you will work across the presentation, application, and database layers, contributing to the development, testing, and deployment of high-quality software. What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to team goals around performance, quality, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Stay current with development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to help the team improve.
• Support teammates and cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Java and related web technologies.
• Experience designing with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and testing frameworks like JUnit, Enzyme, or Mocha.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Bonus: Experience with healthcare software, HL7®, Redis, Docker, Postgres, or AWS.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
