Summary:
We are currently representing a commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on retail-focused projects. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in active jobsite environments, take ownership of project delivery, and bring a consistent focus on quality, safety, and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily on-site operations and subcontractor coordination

• Review and enforce project plans, specifications, and schedules

• Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and lead on-site safety efforts

• Conduct and coordinate project inspections with local authorities

• Track and document daily field activity through reports and logs

• Assist with field change orders, budget tracking, and issue resolution

• Oversee project closeout, including punch list completion and quality control

• Coordinate delivery and installation of owner-furnished materials and equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

• Prior experience with retail, ground-up, or tenant improvement projects preferred

• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP documentation

• Proven ability to lead safe and productive jobsites

• Willingness to work night or swing shifts depending on project needs

• Ability to travel between job sites across AZ, CA, and NV

• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating uneven terrain

• Ability to operate standard jobsite equipment including lifts and ladders
