Inpatient Pharmacist
Tucson, AZ
We’re seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join an acute care hospital team in Tucson, Arizona . This is a night-shift rotation role ideal for pharmacists with strong inpatient and critical care experience.
Schedule:
7 nights on / 7 nights off
Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Workdays: Wednesday – Tuesday
No on-call
No option for 48-hour guarantee
No blocked scheduling
Role Overview:
Provide inpatient pharmacy services in an acute hospital setting
Review and verify medication orders for safety and efficacy
Participate in clinical decision-making and interdisciplinary rounds as needed
Support emergency responses and urgent medication needs during night shift
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Active Arizona Pharmacist License
BLS & ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute hospital experience
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently on nights
Preferred (Not Required):
Board Certification and/or Accredited Pharmacy Residency
This role is well-suited for a pharmacist who prefers a consistent night rotation and thrives in a high-acuity inpatient environment.
