Title: Bilingual English-Spanish Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bilingual English-Spanish Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, interviewing, and selecting top talent for our organization while ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires. Your ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish will be essential in engaging with a diverse candidate pool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment:
• Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Manage the recruitment process, from posting job listings to making job offers.
• Candidate Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience.
• Provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Keep candidates informed about the status of their applications and next steps.
• Ensure that all candidate information is accurately documented in the applicant tracking system.
• Onboarding:
• Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees, including assisting with the necessary paperwork, documentation, and online procedures as needed. Visit restaurant locations to coordinate recruiting needs as needed.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have the resources and tools needed for success.
• Serve as a point of contact for new hires to address questions and concerns during onboarding.

• Compliance and Record-Keeping:
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and other relevant laws.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate recruitment and onboarding-related reports to track key metrics and provide insights for process improvement.
• Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Language Proficiency:
• Utilize strong bilingual English and Spanish language skills to communicate with candidates, employees, and stakeholders effectively.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with HR colleagues and hiring managers to align recruitment and onboarding strategies with organizational goals.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Attend department meetings at the corporate office biweekly for recruiting updates. (weekly during new openings).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Preferred not required).
• Proven experience as a recruiter and onboarding specialist, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• SHRM or HR certification is a plus.
