Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Tech role

As a mobile diesel mechanic/technician you'll be the expert we rely on to keep our trucks on the road. This a field-based role that is perfect for those who are self motivated, ambitious, and will initiate tasks, solve problems, and complete projects independently without constant supervision. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, DOT inspections, and repairs on a variety of specialized equipment including vacuum trucks, skid steers, excavators, and a small fleet of pickup trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed. May be required to assist crews on projects.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year technical school training OR 2 years of hands-on experience in diesel/heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Experience maintaining/repairing diesel and gas engines
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, water pumps, and electrical repair skills
• Must have clean driving record and a valid driver's license
• Provide your own tools - we will provide the rest
• Competent in mobile apps, fleet maintenance software, navigation systems, digital tools, and diagnostic scanners
• Strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a safety first mindset
