We are a very active real estate team in the Phoenix metro area assisting clients with buying, selling and managing residential real estate. Our experience in this rapidly evolving market has given us excellent resources for helping our clients through even the most complicated real estate scenarios.
Summary of Position:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time in-office Accounting Assistant. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in software proficiency, data analysis, and accounting principles while contributing to a positive work environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role works in close proximity with the Accountant to ensure accuracy and receive guidance.

Position Responsibilities:
Processing invoices and utility bills
Processing commission payments
Processing notices and evictions
Reviewing leases and other agreements for accuracy
Posting payments
Managing HOA statements
Reconciling bank accounts
Filing TPT
Credit Card management, reconciliations and payments
Categorizing Quickbook entries and reporting
Managing office contracts and payments
Accounting support for projects and assignments
The ideal candidate will have:
Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and take initiative
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently while also being a team player, fostering a respectful and honest work environment
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions
Business knowledge such as having a general understanding of business operations and terminology is beneficial for accountants to better understand the context of their work and its impact on the organization
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
Additional training in Accounting principles is highly preferred
AZ Real Estate License a plus
Reliable transportation
Ability to work well with people and have strong customer service skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to adapt
