Bring Structure and Accountability to a Growing Plumbing Department
We are hiring a Plumbing Operations and Project Manager to connect our technicians in the field with scheduling, project planning, customer expectations, financial performance, and administrative follow-through.
You will maintain oversight of active jobs and projects, support technicians when complex situations arise, assist with proposals, supervise key office personnel, and ensure the administrative side of the department is completed accurately and on time.
This position is designed for an experienced plumbing professional who understands field operations but is ready to lead from a broader perspective. You will not personally run every job. Instead, you will ensure the right people, materials, information, and expectations are in place for work to move forward successfully.

- Performance-based bonus opportunities

- High-impact leadership position
- Opportunity to improve systems and develop employees
- Long-term advancement potential within a growing company
Your Responsibilities
- Track active plumbing jobs and projects and maintain an accurate status on each
- Coordinate project timelines, labor, materials, customer communication, and next steps
- Assist with quotes, proposals, scopes of work, and pricing for small and large projects
- Identify scheduling, staffing, material, or profitability issues before they create delays
- Review callbacks, customer feedback, quality concerns, and productivity
- Reinforce department standards and address performance issues
- Support interviewing, onboarding, training, and employee development
- Supervise the plumbing dispatcher and department assistant
- Monitor open estimates, unscheduled work, pending materials, and incomplete documentation
- Review labor, materials, margins, invoices, timecards, and job records
- Prepare technician pay sheets and verify applicable incentives
- Maintain accurate information within ServiceTitan or a similar system
- Report on workload, staffing, revenue, profitability, and operational concerns
- Improve processes and communication between the office and field
Required Experience
- Professional plumbing experience and strong knowledge of service and project work
- Plumbing or construction project management experience
- Previous experience leading technicians or managing a service department
- Ability to provide credible technical support on complex plumbing jobs
- Experience preparing estimates, quotes, proposals, or project scopes
- Familiarity with job costing, labor tracking, material costs, and profitability
- Experience conducting employee reviews and addressing performance concerns
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to balance urgent operational needs with long-term priorities
- ServiceTitan or similar software experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Build a Stronger Plumbing Operation
This role has responsibility for the overall health of the plumbing department-from technician support and project visibility to job costing, employee performance, and administrative accuracy.
If you have the plumbing knowledge, project management experience, and leadership ability to build an organized and profitable operation, we encourage you to apply.
