Production Inventory Lead

Overview:

The Production Inventory Lead will be responsible for maintaining the control and integrity of our inventory throughout the Phoenix production facility, and ensure all inventory management systems and processes are compliant with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provides inventory reporting to purchasing and planning team.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates updates to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory planning team.
• Oversees movement and storage of all inventory within production locations.
• Evaluates and manages stock rotation practices.
• Enforces and optimizes inventory control procedures.
• Leads all periodic physical inventory audits.
• Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies as required.
• Facilitates cross-functional collaboration throughout the supply chain.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of inventory control experience.
• Proficient with excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to use the computer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
• Proper employment documentation.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.
• Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.

Education:

• Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or related equivalent preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
