About the Role

By working at Sally Beauty, you would be part of the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world. The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers. You will assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, building relationships and inspiring loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales / customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Clear and concise communication with customers, co‑workers, and management.
• Ability to execute product knowledge training and support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Work Conditions / Physical Requirements

Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. May require recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. Working around moving parts, carts, or machines. May occasionally be exposed to irritant chemicals, fumes and odors.
