We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical practice in Sun City West, AZ. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a part-time basis providing direct patient care, with the potential to increase to full time. Our ideal NP/PA is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point injections and Regen med injections done IM (intramuscularly) or in joints. A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in orthopedics, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background and experience with joint injections is required. Duties:
-Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical/functional exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
-Order and review tests/labs
-Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
-Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
-Manage patient care
-Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections (PRP)
-Documentation and progress notes
-Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in AZ
-Physician Assistants must be certified by the AZ board to work without supervision
-Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
-Experience with joint injections a plus

Schedule:
-Part time (3 days per week) with potential to increase to full time as the patient base increases

Compensation:
-$50-$60 /hour (depending on experience)
