IMMEDIATE POSITION AVAILABLE FOR: IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN

ABC Scapes located in Phoenix at McDowell & 19th Avenue is seeking seasoned professional Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities of Irrigation Technician are, but not limited to:

• Ability to report/update in real-time via electronic tablet work order
• Upload before and after pictures to all work orders
• General commercial/residential landscape irrigation maintenance
• Perform inspections in a timely fashion
• Trouble shoot and repair main lines, valves, sprinkler heads, etc.
• Install new irrigation systems from start to finish.
• Prepare quotes for repairs, replacements and/or new installation.
• Adjust and program various timers/solar clocks.
• Use required personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job
• Drive company vehicles in a safe manner always and make sure that all equipment is stored and secured for transport in a manner to avoid damage
• Properly mark and rope off any open holes or hazards to protect others from getting hurt
• Before leaving any job site, assure that it is property cleaned and that all equipment is removed from the site.
• Consistently provide workmanship that meets or exceeds quality expectations
• Report to work every day and on time.

Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Driver License and Clean MVR (A company vehicle is provided to complete day to day work.)
• 2+ years of irrigation experience
• English speaking
• Reliable Transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to use all tools associated with irrigation repair or installation
• Must be able to traverse various terrains.
• Must be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights up to 75 lbs. on an infrequent basis, but up to 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight- or ten-hour day.
• Working in the high Arizona desert heat where temperatures could get as high as 120 degrees.
• Must be able to clear employment requirements with E-Verify
• Advanced controllers
• Knowledge of local plant materials
• Knowledge of Low lighting voltage
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting equipment
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Complete hands-on knowledge of irrigation systems
• Back flow certified a huge plus, willingness to become certified a big plus
• ALCA Certified Irrigation Technician ( ACIT ) or willingness desired
• MUST BE ABLE TO BE ON CALL EVERY OTHER WEEKEND AND FOR AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CALLS.

Salary depending on experience !!
