Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Mechanic with hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to diagnose and fix a variety of mechanical issues efficiently. This position offers steady work hours, opportunities for growth, and a pay raise after 90 days based on performance.

Schedule:

• 32 to 40 hours per week (depending on workload)

Location: Mesa

Pay:

• Starting at $16 per hour
• Pay raise available after 90 days

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the best repair methods
• Conduct oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and other routine services
• Replace and repair worn or defective parts using hand and power tools
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and parts needed
• Assist with basic fabrication, assembly, or equipment setup as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical repair or maintenance (automotive, small engines, or industrial equipment preferred)
• Clean driving record (no DUIs or restricted licenses)
• Must be able to pass a company-administered breathalyzer test, background check, and MVR check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
