Travel Surgical Tech Job

TLC Healthforce
Phoenix, AZ
Embark on a dynamic journey as a Travel Surgical Tech in Phoenix, Arizona, where your precision, teamwork, and compassion become the heartbeat of every operation. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to impact patients at critical moments, to hone your skills in diverse operating rooms, and to grow within a specialty that relies on your vigilance and mastery. In Arizona, the beauty of the state complements the professional path—sun-drenched days, desert vistas, and easy access to iconic landscapes from Saguaro National Park to glittering urban trails. Picture ending a demanding case and stepping into a landscape that recharges your energy for the next challenge, with mornings bright, communities warm, and outdoor adventures close at hand.

Phoenix offers a thriving healthcare ecosystem that brings you into contact with top hospitals, academic centers, and community facilities that prize surgical excellence. The city’s calendar is alive with cultural events, culinary discoveries, and outdoor recreation, all while you build a national professional network. The climate supports an active lifestyle year-round, making it easy to balance demanding clinical days with rejuvenating downtime. For clinicians open to broader experience, the role can also involve assignments across other U.S. locations, delivering exposure to varied surgical programs, patient populations, and operating-room workflows that broaden your expertise and elevate your professional profile.

As a Surgical Tech, you’ll play a pivotal role in the perioperative team. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile operating environments, selecting and handing instruments, ensuring accurate counts, and assisting surgeons and circulating staff to support efficient, safe procedures. You’ll uphold rigorous aseptic technique, verify equipment function, troubleshoot on the fly, and communicate clearly with the team to anticipate needs. This role provides structured opportunities for professional growth within the surgical tech discipline—from enhanced instrument management and imaged-guided procedure support to evolving into lead tech duties or specialized perioperative roles. Alongside your clinical duties, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive package designed to recognize your expertise: a competitive weekly pay range of $1,950–$2,083, with guaranteed hours of 24 per week, and a contract that starts on 03/02/2026 and runs for several weeks, with the potential for extensions based on performance, department needs, and mutual interest. A sign-on or merit bonus is available where offered, plus housing assistance to help you settle quickly in the area, and flexible extension opportunities to keep your career momentum going. Please note that the stated pay rates and hours are estimates and may vary; final compensation will be clarified during the hiring process. Our travel program also includes 24/7 support while you’re on assignment, ensuring you have a dedicated liaison available for credentialing, housing, scheduling, and any on-site needs so you can focus on patient care with confidence.

Our company values empower you to grow while delivering exceptional patient care. We’re committed to supporting your advancement, offering ongoing training, mentorship, and the chance to collaborate across multiple sites to sharpen your skills and deepen your perioperative acumen. You’ll join a culture that prioritizes safety, transparency, and a supportive work environment—where your expertise is recognized, your contributions are valued, and your professional development is a real priority. We believe in flexible pathways that respect your goals and your well-being, with clear communication and resources that help you thrive as a surgical tech in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting.

If you’re ready to bring your Surgical Tech talents to high-impact operating rooms, immerse yourself in travel-friendly, growth-oriented assignments, and join a team that celebrates your dedication, your skill, and your ambition, this opportunity is for you. Apply today to partner with a company that prizes your contribution and stands ready to support your career journey in surgical services.
