Retina Surgeon - Prescott, Arizona

As an ophthalmologist specializing in retina and vitreoretinal surgery, you will:
- Restore and preserve vision for patients with retinal disorders, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and other vitreoretinal diseases
- Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of retinal and vitreoretinal conditions, determining when surgical or medical intervention is needed
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques, including retinal detachment repair (scleral buckle, vitrectomy), macular surgery, retinal laser procedures, and intravitreal injections
- Perform comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for retinal and vitreoretinal procedures
- Conduct precise, minimally invasive vitreoretinal surgical procedures
- Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring retinal recovery and visual outcomes
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front office staff to deliver comprehensive retinal and vitreoretinal care
- Treat a wide range of ophthalmic cases, with emphasis on retinal diseases, diabetic eye disease, macular pathology, retinal vascular disorders, and complex vitreoretinal surgeries
