Company Description

We're seeking a few experienced customer service orientated restaurant Manager’s who can effectively lead team members and know and able to run a profitable restaurant. Qualified candidates must have minimum 3 years (or more) management experience in a full service, sit down family style restaurant. If we’re unable to confirm our requirements we’ll be unable to consider you.
What makes Cracker’s a unique restaurant? Naturally everyone considers themselves unique, using only the freshest and quality ingredients. Well I haven’t ever seen anyone proclaim, “We use stale and poor quality ingredients and our food sucks”.
Absolutely Cracker’s uses fresh quality ingredients and our food really is good. After all, there must be a reason Cracker’s has remained popular for over 41 years. And it’s not because I’m pretty. All kidding aside, when we say our food really is that good, we mean it. At the risk of sounding too cliché, Crackers really isn’t your typical breakfast/lunch place. It’s for people expecting above average.
So why exactly is Cracker’s food really good? That’s challenging to describe in words. But a lot has to do with my wife’s cooking. (not just saying that because I have to go home with her). Hers is a cooking style she learnt from her mother as a child growing up in the great Pannonian plains of Europe. A region conquered and occupied by several great empires over the millennia, from whom all have left their indelible mark and shaped the region’s cuisine to this day. And so it is all this history that influences and makes it’s subtle way into Cracker’s American comfort foods which ultimately land on your palate.
Value for your money. Have you noticed how portions have shrunk and prices shot up! Have our prices gone up? We’re all in the same boat. Obviously, we’re not immune to global rising costs and had to raise menu prices as a matter of survival but didn’t go hog-wild. We raised them just enough to earn an honest day’s wages and survive. How can we do it? Simple. We’re NOT greedy.
We are proud to offer decent prices along with our generous portions and quality that customers have come to expect since our beginning, September of 1984.
A few more facts worth mentioning. You know the top 3 job platforms list average hours restaurant managers work is between 50 – 55hrs weekly, while 60 – 80hrs are not unheard of. Cracker’s managers work a weekly average of 42 – 45 hours weekly. There’s always exceptions, but very rarely. Those of you in the business also know that it’s fairly common for managers to get called in on short or no notice in order to cover cook’s who called off because they had one too many adult beverages last night. Or in jail for DWI. Sound familiar? That’s hardly a problem at Crackers. Due to our selective hiring practices most of our cooks are highly reliable, dependable and hard working family people. The vast majority of times you get 2 consecutive days off. No split shits. No liquor. No Late nights. In fact, no nights period. And did I mention Crackers closes for Thanksgiving, Christmas and new years day.
If any of this sounds appealing to you, you owe it to yourself to check it out and I highly recommend you submit your resume.
