Night Auditor

POSITION: NIGHT AUDITOR
DEPARTMENT: HOTEL
REPORTS TO: FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be age 21 or older
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Must qualify for a gaming license
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and have good finger dexterity
  • Experience working at a hotel front desk required
  • Experience as a night auditor preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, and nights
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Process guest registration, including posting of payment due
  • Close out of the night audit after ensuring all revenue is in balance
  • Perform nightly backup of server
  • Communicate to management and other desk staff all pertinent shift information
  • Perform all arrival and departure procedures
  • Provide information about the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and casino to guests
  • Excellent organizational skills with an “I can” positive attitude
  • Respond to guest concerns/needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain room status inventory
  • Maintain and clean lobby/common areas as needed
  • Manage proper guest payment methods and verifying credit card data per hotel standards
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payment requirements
  • Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready before pre-blocking or guest arrival
  • Answer the front desk phones in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a sense of discretion and confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned
