Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and run all machinery, ensuring compliance with operating and safety procedures, as well as ISO standards.
• Weigh ingredients according to recipe specifications and insert them into machinery.
• Ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and insert pre-blended materials into machinery.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe and efficient operation, troubleshooting any equipment or processing issues.
• Operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials following operating procedures.
• Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
• Take samples of materials to the lab for evaluation and instructions on batch adjustments, if necessary.
• Refer issues or problems to the Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor.
• Perform all required machine cleaning.
• Complete and maintain all required system inputs and transactions, ensuring data integrity.
• Document work completed, including logs, data reports, and procedures.

Essential Skills

• At least one year of production experience in a manufacturing plant involving mixing, blending, batching, or production of powdered or liquid parts.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• High school diploma, GED equivalency, or relevant experience.
• Computer literacy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with GMP, quality control, shipping and receiving, and machine operation.
• Experience with warehouse operations and SAP.

Shift and Pay

• 1st shift 4:00 am - 2:30 pm M-Th
• 2nd shift 12:00PM - 10:30PM M- Th
• $19/hour

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
