**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related incidents.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
+ Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
