We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join our dynamic and supportive team. Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly organized, professional, and enthusiastically friendly individual to take on the Receptionist / Office Manager hybrid role. This position is vital not only for ensuring the smooth, daily function of our office and delivering an exceptional first impression to clients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & First Impression: Serve as the primary, professional, and courteous point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors.
Call and Email Management: Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system. You will also manage and respond to general office email correspondence in a clear, professional, and timely manner.Scheduling and Calendar Management: Take the lead in scheduling client appointments, coordinating internal team meetings, and managing the firm’s main professional calendar.
Document Management: Provide essential support to our tax professionals by assembling, binding, and scanning completed tax returns and other sensitive client documents, ensuring absolute accuracy and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
Comprehensive Supply Management: Proactively monitor, track inventory, and order all necessary office supplies, kitchen necessities, and essential equipment, ensuring the office is consistently and adequately stocked without shortages.
Vendor and Facility Relations: Act as the primary liaison and coordinator with building management, external IT support, cleaning services, and all other necessary office vendors to ensure all services are delivered efficiently.
Administrative Team Support: Proactively coordinate other administrative staff.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of recent and relevant experience working in a CPA firm or other professional office space.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Further education in a related field is a significant plus
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and phone skills
Competent in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoho and general computer skills
Knowledge of Thomson Reuters accounting software and quickbooks online preferred, but not required
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a Full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and a robust benefits package.
Compensation: The hourly pay rate ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending entirely on the candidate's experience.
