Quality Assurance Tester for RAC Modernization

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate acceptance criteria into test scenarios and detailed test cases.
• Review test cases with the Product Owner to confirm scope and feasibility.
• Ensure 100% test coverage and maintain requirement-to-test traceability.
• Execute Functional, UAT, and Regression testing.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Demonstrate test results to the Product Owner and project team.
• Ensure testing activities meet audit and compliance requirements.
• Communicate testing status, progress, defects, risks, and impacts in a timely manner.
• Support and participate in unit testing, providing feedback to developers.
• Ensure DevOps and Agile testing practices are followed where applicable.
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional Agile team.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Functional, UAT, and Regression testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and Agile testing practices.
• Experience with defect management tools and processes.
• Ability to create and execute database queries for data validation and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Experience with ADO or other Agile lifecycle management tools (preferred).
• Exposure to test automation tools and migration projects (preferred).

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors.
