Clinical Consultant
Position Overview
As our Clinical Consultant at Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will be collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Consulting to develop and execute on strategies to help mid-market clients control health care costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through analytic-based state of the art innovations. Whether it’s delivering health analytics reports and clinical consulting with clients or serving as the principal clinical market resource for clients engagements, you’re focused on the details and getting people the right information.
Responsible for delivering health analytics reports and clinical consulting with clients
In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Consulting, develop and execute on strategies to help mid-market clients control health care costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through analytic-based state of the art innovations and reporting
Interface with other colleagues in a team environment to create clinical strategies and execute those strategies to assist our clients in achieving measurable outcomes.
Serve as the principal clinical market resource for client engagements, and assist in managing clinical relationships with payors, providers and employers
Evaluate population health management solutions, such as pharmacy benefits management, telemedicine, mobile health technology, health specific vendors, high performance networks, patient-centered medical homes/ACOs and workplace health and safety services
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
5 -10 years of experience delivering clinical consultant services to clients, preferably in a health care consulting or brokerage environment
RN, BSN with documented clinical experience
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties
Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers, peers and clients
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Preferred:
MBA, MPH or MHA
