Whitestone REIT is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Arizona Scottsdale market. The qualified candidate will have a great work ethic, with the capability to work under minimal supervision and consistently all projects.
Qualified candidates must have a personal vehicle for reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Make light repairs and adjustments on plumbing systems as needed;
- Repair interior and exterior finishes and drywall of properties;
- Repair electrical issues within properties;
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of properties;
- Repair water pumps and fountains;
- Manage time wisely and productively while working independently;
- Able to complete tasks from start to finish.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. required;
- Valid driver’s license required;
- HVAC certification strongly preferred;
- Minimum of two years general maintenance experience in commercial retail environment required;
- Minimum of two years of general plumbing and electrical experience required;
- Ability to do physical requirements such as stooping, climbing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. or more;
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and complete reports, training will be provided; and
- Ability to work in and around Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ.
