• Location: Cottonwood, Arizona 86326 (Arizona OT jobs)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Wednesday – Saturday, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Average Daily Census: 14-16 patients
• Scrub Color: Eggplant
• Charting System: Cerner EMR
• Free Parking: Available on site

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient acute care OT experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Ability to obtain Arizona fingerprint clearance card (allow 7-12 weeks for processing)
• Experience treating adults and geriatric patient populations with a variety of medical diagnoses
• Skilled in managing moderate to maximum assist patients, co-treatments, and ventilated patients
• Adaptable and able to take on additional evaluations as needed throughout the day
• Weekend availability required (department operates 7 days/week)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inpatient Occupational Therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients with diverse medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for co-treatments and patient care planning
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, and discharge planning
• Document patient progress and outcomes using Cerner EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Work one weekend day per week as part of regular schedule
