Prestige Animal Clinic in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Medical Director to lead our practice. Prestige Animal Clinic is a small animal practice serving dogs and cats. We provide general medicine, surgery, and preventative medicine for our patients. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, passionate about leadership, willing to mentor other DVMs, proficient in medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and client communication.

Job Summary

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing Associate Veterinarians, and ensuring regulatory compliance related to veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also tasked with creating a teamwork environment where quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of Divisional Leadership. Additionally, they are responsible for fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Arizona
• Experience in leading and mentoring staff to achieve success
• Effective engagement with NVA leadership to drive clinic outcomes
• Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients
• Previous ownership experience is a plus
