Casual Driver: This is a part time position, on call, fill-in driver. We work around your schedule. Most lanes require driver unloading and are time sensitive. We primarily run in CA, NV, AZ, OR, WA, UT. Lanes could be line haul regional, out over night or local work.

$.40cpm or $18.50 hour pay when applicable, with 1 yr. experience

Applicants with 1 year experience required.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Guidelines
•Class "A" CDL
•In depth knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
•One year verifiable experience preferred but not required.
•No more than one ticket/violation and no more than one preventable accident in the past 36 months.
•No serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the last three years.
•Must be 21 years of age.
•This position is responsible to be well spoken; read & speak English; clearly able to communicate in a concise manner.
•Must be Professional and able to accomplish all job functions with minimal instruction and guidance.
•Must have good grooming habits, clothes neat and clean. Always presenting a professional image for ITS.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
◦Nighttime, weekends and changing Shifts
◦Out 3-4 days at a time going to CA
◦On-Call Requirements
◦Humidity: Normal
◦Other Hazards: changing weather and road conditions including chaining of truck
◦Percentage of time spent outside: 25%
◦Protective clothing required: safety vests and goggles
◦Sitting for prolonged periods while driving.
◦Cranking of landing gear
◦Checking loads and equipment
◦Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
