FAA Assembly Mechanic
We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Phoenix, AZ surrounding area.
As an FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1, you will play a crucial role in constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Your responsibilities include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring the proper functioning of machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will assemble mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Conduct tests to verify functionality and safety.
- Identify parts that require replacement due to wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Place orders for new parts as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
- Work under immediate supervision, following pre-established guidelines.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in the relevant specialty may also be necessary.
- May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
