Are you an experienced estimator who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves helping people after a loss in their home of business? Join our growing restoration and construction team where your skills make a difference every day. This is not an entry level estimating position. Xactimate experience is required to be considered for this position. Experience working in Symbility is also desired but not required.

What You’ll Do
• Conduct on-site assessments of residential and commercial property losses of various sizes and complexity. Take photos, sketch the loss.
• Generate detailed repair estimates using Xactimate (or Symbility).
• Collaborate with project managers, insurance adjusters, and property managers to ensure accurate scopes of work.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, clients, and team members. Take opportunities to educate them on the restoration and reconstruction process.
• Follow up with the decision makers to sell the reconstruction work. Build relationships with clients to procure future work.
• Process change orders and supplements as necessary and in a timely manner. See supplements through to approval
• Be a leader that is self-motivated, responsible, proactive, a team player
• Stay up-to-date with restoration best practices and changes in the market as it evolves.

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as an estimator in restoration, insurance claims, or construction
• Proficiency in Xactimate. Experience working in Symbility is also desired but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• A team player who works well with other people
• You take the initiative and have problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and pleasant demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Employment Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record required
• Professional employment references
• Drug screen/criminal background check required

Most of the time this is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with additional hours work as your workload dictates. However, as a 24/7 emergency services company, you may be asked to support the team outside of traditional working hours as needed.
