Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

As a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires will report M-F for the first 90 days. New Product Introduction (NPI) is Honeywell's organizational link between Integrated Supply Chain and the product development functions of Engineering, Program Management, and the Strategic Business Units. AME participates in the execution of new product development programs to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved. This role will be heavily responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIR) and coordinating quality notifications with the ISC NPI and AME Production Teams. The ability to read drawings and inspect hardware builds will enable success in this position. Job Posting Date: November 13, 2025 **U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS** **Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.** **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. + 2+ years of Engineering, Program Management, or Integrated Supply Chain experience + Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. + Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. + Experience with data analysis and statistical process control. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. **WE VALUE** + Product knowledge in valves, pumps, actuators, and environmental control systems + Ability to read engineering mechanical drawings and assess for manufacturing capability + Knowledge of casting and machining processes + Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, and MS Project + Position requires manufacturing and supplier factory floor exposure requiring safety shoes and glasses + Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation + Advanced understanding of manufacturing techniques and their impact on costs + Proficiency in project management skills with the ability to close initiatives on time and within budget + Green Belt, DFSS, Black Belt, Lean, or HOS certification.
