MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist;Internal Medicine
Description
This full-time, on-site position is located in Prescott and offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing excellent patient care.
As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in managing patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical services. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff for optimal patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Participate in clinical rounds and team meetings
- Educate patients and families about health management
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Internal Medicine
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Shift Information: 12-hour day shifts, 6a-6p or 7a-7p
Schedule: 7 on/7 off
Daily Volume: 18 patients
No procedures required
Full subspecialty support
EMR: Cerner
Must be board certified
