Schedule Friday through Monday 4:00 AM - 2:30 pm

Our team seeks a(n) Shipping Assoicate to help us create better outdoor experiences by ensuring that REI’s standards are properly applied and maintained in our Distribution Center.

How you will be successful:

• Prioritize daily workloads to perform tasks at prescribed rates while working as a team

• Process and safely handle product in multiple departments as assigned, specific, but not limited to

Your qualities:

• Comfortable working with heights of 30+ ft.

• Able to work standing or walking for 10 hour shifts.

• Safely handle product in an efficient and trained manner.

• Ability to build rapport with other departments to ensure freight flow service levels and quality levels are maintained

• Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 35 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.

• Flexibility to work within different departments.

• Works efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work.

• Able to work under pressure to ensure deliveries of product are shipped on time.

• Able to collaborate cross-departmentally to strategize and plan each day in order to execute shipping as much product as possible to our stores and customers.

Base Pay Range: $18.20 - $20.40 per hour
