*Urology Advanced Practice Provider | Banner University Medicine | Tucson

Banner - University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to be part of a dynamic team providing clinical care in the Urology Clinic at Banner - University Medicine North Clinics. A previous urology background and exposure are preferred, as are candidates who appreciate a team-based approach to caring for genitourinary patients. Experienced Family Nurse Practitioners are considered. An onsite Urology training, education, and skill development program is offered.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with Urologists and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care within the new Urology Clinical facility. This position will have independent patient care clinics as well as work as a physician extender with a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery specialist. A focus on female urology will be supported by an onsite training program to foster a foundation of urologic knowledge and skill set.

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8am-5pm | No Weekends!

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ year of experience as an RN or NP in a urology clinic preferred

Current AZ NP or PA license or eligible

Current Nurse Practitioner board certification

DEA prescribing license, BLS, CPR certification
