We are seeking kind, caring, and compassionate educators to join our growing school as Lead Teachers. This role involves leading a classroom using the Montessori method to foster early learning and development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. While Montessori training is preferred, we welcome exceptional candidates and are willing to sponsor Montessori certification for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Manage a classroom environment effectively
- Assess student progress and development regularly
- Communicate consistently with parents regarding child’s growth and needs
- Lead and support teaching team members
- Implement Montessori teaching methodologies
- Ensure safety and well-being of all students
- Guide and support positive behavior in young children
- Maintain accurate records of observations and assessments
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of Montessori teaching methods
- Understanding of child development principles
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Experience in team leadership and conflict resolution
- Skilled in observation and reporting
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, empathy, and compassion
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Montessori Certification
