Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future. **The Role** The **Senior Lead Analyst** is the team's **catalyst for strategic change and innovation** . Reporting to the Senior Director of Long Range Planning, this role focuses on translating the long-term strategy into actionable programs and new initiatives that drive growth in sales and revenue. The Senior Manager identifies, scopes, and helps execute high-impact strategic initiatives - such as new go-to-market approaches, sales and customer success programs, new product or service offerings, and operational improvements - that are critical to achieving the 1-3 year and 3-5 year objectives. Acting as an internal consultant and project leader, this person works cross-functionally to ensure strategic initiatives are well-defined, resourced, and deliver results that propel Lumen toward its long-range goals. **The Main Responsibilities** + **Strategic Initiative Identification:** Work closely with the Senior Director and other leaders to **identify strategic growth initiatives** that emerge from the long-range planning process, such as how we commercialize products & bundles, drive new routes to market, design sales & CS programs and strategies. + **Business Case Development:** Lead the development of a robust **business case and execution plan** . Define the initiative's objectives, how it will contribute to long-term growth or efficiency, and determine key requirements (resources, budget, timeline) alongside Finance to model impact. + **Collaboration, Leadership & Execution:** Drive the execution of strategic initiatives from idea to execution alongside cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success, Operations, IT - depending on the nature of the initiative. + **Performance Tracking & Pivoting:** Define **KPIs and success metrics** for each initiative up front (e.g., incremental revenue, adoption rates, cost savings, customer satisfaction improvements). Track these metrics closely once the initiative is launched. + **Innovation and Best Practices:** Keep a pulse on **emerging strategies and best practices** in growth and commercial excellence, both within and outside the industry. Introduce new ideas or frameworks to the organization to test and learn (for example, piloting a new customer success approach inspired by SaaS industry best practices). Encourage a culture of experimentation by running controlled "trial programs" for innovative concepts, measuring results, and scaling successful ones. + **Support Strategic Planning** : Contribute back into the long-range planning cycle by providing feedback from the field. Insights gained while executing initiatives (e.g., customer feedback, operational challenges, new unforeseen opportunities) should be looped into the next iteration of the strategy. **What We Look For in a Candidate** 8+ years related experience with Bachelor's degree or 6+ years related experience with Master's degree. Knowledge with the following: financial acumen, commercial experience, and strategy background. **Compensation** This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
