Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school in Mesa, AZ, focused on providing exceptional resource support to students with diverse learning needs. This contract position is set for the current school year (CSY) with an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique educational needs of elementary-level students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support academic growth and social development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary school-aged students in a resource setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials for diverse learners.

Location: Mesa, Arizona
Duration: Contract through current school year
Schedule: Full-time, Elementary Resource setting
Start Date: ASAP
