Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary

Location: Phoenix Metro Area

Position Overview

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, financial reporting, and capital asset accounting. This role will be highly involved with fixed assets, depreciation schedules, CapEx tracking, and financial analysis while partnering closely with operational leaders and finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting, additions, disposals, transfers, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor depreciation schedules for a large portfolio of assets.
• Track and analyze capital expenditures (CapEx) and ensure proper capitalization.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Support annual audits and assist with audit requests.
• Analyze variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities related to capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong experience with fixed assets, depreciation accounting, and CapEx management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
