The Role
- Provide clinical leadership and uphold high medical standards across the hospital
- Guide and mentor veterinarians and support staff; foster a learning-focused environment
- Oversee quality of care, medical protocols, and patient safety
- Manage a diverse caseload: wellness, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, urgent care, and exotic/pocket-pet medicine
- Engage clients with clear communication and education to build long-term relationships
- Collaborate on scheduling and workflow; participate in occasional Saturday coverage
- Contribute to hospital initiatives that enhance efficiency, culture, and patient outcomes

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice (or eligibility to obtain) in Arizona
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first approach
- Leadership experience or clear interest in medical leadership; exotic-pet interest welcomed
