Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education documentation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to their IEPs
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs and goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Contribute to the IEP process by attending meetings and reporting on student progress
• Provide intervention and strategies to facilitate student participation, independence, and success in the school environment
• Educate staff and families on strategies to promote daily functional skills
