CNC Programmer

We are looking for a detailed-oriented CNC Programmer to help our team produce high-quality parts in for the aerospace and defense industry. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs and setup sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development: Create efficient and repeatable part programs using Esprit.

• Documentation: Publish and update detailed setup sheets, ensuring clarity for machine operators with photos, notes, and clear work offsets.

• Troubleshooting: Assist operators with program issues to improve quality and throughput.

• Process Improvement: Engage with the shop floor to capture and implement process improvements.

• File Management: Maintain and organize program and fixture files on the server.

• Tooling: Select and verify tooling, and assist in maintaining the tooling catalog.

• Fixture Design: Design and program necessary fixtures for part production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Practical understanding of machining principles.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

• Experience with SolidWorks and Esprit.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

• 4+ years machining experience.
