We are currently seeking ​a Field Marking Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will measure and paint fields and courts for athletic events

Responsibilities: ​​​​​​

**Laying Out the Field**: Measuring and marking the dimensions of the field according to sport-specific guidelines (e.g., soccer, football, baseball, etc.).

**Marking Lines**: Using specialized equipment and tools (like striping machines, GPS equipment, string) to paint or apply lines and boundary markers

**Maintaining Markings**: Regularly reapplying or touching up lines to ensure visibility throughout the season.

**Applying Logos and Symbols**: Creating logos, team names, and other custom designs on the field, particularly for special events.

**Checking Compliance**: Ensuring the field markings meet league or organizational specifications (such as field size and line width).

**Safety**: Ensuring that the markings are safe for players, including avoiding hazardous materials or making sure they don't interfere with gameplay.

**Equipment and vehicle Maintenance**: Maintaining striping equipment and vehicle to ensure proper functionality.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience as field marking technician, grounds keeping, turf management or other related fields
• Familiar with rules and regulations of variety of sports layouts is beneficial
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience handling line striping equipment and spray paint tools
• Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Capability to lift heavy equipment and material
• Good hand eye coordination for precision work
• Attention to detail ensuring line markings are sharp, straight and compliant
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Strong communication and teamwork
