Director
Laboratory Manager
This position leads and manages multi-facility functions that contribute to the operational and financial success of assigned areas. The span of responsibility includes either direct management of or technical oversight for areas of responsibility for multiple system sites and is a liaison between system directors, managers, technical specialists, pathologists and other management personnel.
Core functions include developing work goals and objectives for assigned departments, preparing financial goals and standards for operations performance, ensuring quality standards and customer service expectations are met, fostering a positive work environment, and participating in system laboratory planning activities.
Supervisory responsibilities include direct and matrix reporting for various staff levels within the laboratory operations.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field and 5 years of mid-level management or supervision experience. Preferred qualifications include additional related education and/or experience.
