Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mid-level proficiency and a strong ability to quickly learn new applications. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

-Perform Manual & Automation & Develop Automated Test of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. -Develop and execute test scripts based on project User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and specifications. -Identify and document software defects and retest defects once fixed. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution. -Utilize SQL to query databases and validate test cases during testing. -Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality. -Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports. -Ramp up on business application knowledge quickly -Provide input into the design and improvement of testing processes and methodologies. -Identify and test edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and uncover potential issues that may not be captured by the acceptance criteria alone. -Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to gain clarity on User Stories and gather additional information to enhance the testing process. -Proactively communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather feedback on test cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives. -Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, to contribute to the refinement and improvement of User Stories. -Ability to locate the test data, create new or modify existing data -Perform back end data driven testing

Qualifications
