Shipping Clerk
The Shipping Clerk is a member of the shipping/receiving department and ensures that all products are packaged and labeled to company specifications and standards. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for manual packaging and wrapping a variety of materials including LFG, RFP, and B-Sales orders
- Label cartons for shipment
- Perform quality verification to ensure proper resin stickers and address labels have been affied to the product and shipping boxes
- Maintain records of items packed
- Stack and load packages on loading dock
- Placed finished good in proper inventory
- Restock all supplies
- May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit and use of hands to handle, feel, or grasp objects, tools, or controls.
- Reach and lift with hands and arms; lift/move/carry objects up to 25 lbs. in weight.
- Climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Ability to talk and hear for safety on the production floor.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine
- Ability to read a Work in Progress (WIP) report
- Ability to perform transactions in Oracle for material processing
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes
- Steel-toed shoes are required for this position
