Quality Technician
The Role Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ. The successful candidate will support quality functions including, but not limited to, return material and rejection investigation and disposition, customer support, customer quality documentation, and monitoring of quality location inventories. The key responsibilities of the Quality Technician include, but are not limited to: Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to return material authorizations (RMAs) Product review and assist Quality Engineers with disposition, containment, and work orders Ability to communicate with customers via phone and email Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards and the quality procedures manual Determine rework and process work orders Review of rejection trends Location - Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ The Person - The key skills and qualities of a Quality Technician at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: High school diploma and at least five years of applicable experience or an associate degree in a technical curriculum and one year of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support is required Equivalent education and experience are acceptable Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs, and documents Has proactive problem-solving skills Familiarity with quote and order processing a plus Physical demands of the role include bending, sitting, typing, lifting, and standing (up to 5 hours per day) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Data3 software Incumbent must pass an annual eye exam, with or without corrective lenses The Company - With manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for 100 years.
