The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing technical expertise and support of ongoing operations and improvements within the plant. The primary focus of this position will be our mechanical, electrical and control systems. The Maintenance Technician will also assist the department with mechanical and operational issues. This is a hands-on position with extensive interaction with production.

Essential Duties :

1. Must be able to troubleshoot relay controls, P.L.C. controls, and C.N.C. controls.

2. Must be able to design relay circuits, P.L.C. circuits to perform tasks from verbal/written instructions.

3. Must be able to troubleshoot hydraulic and lor pneumatic circuits and design same.

4. Must be proficient in welding steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.

5. Must be willing to train and share new knowledge gained with other employees.

6. Must be willing and able to perform all functions of maintenance (i.e.: Janitorial, Building Maintenance, Maintenance "B", and Maintenance "A").

7. Must learn plant infrastructure; Sprinkler mains, their shut off valves, areas serviced, inspector test stations, drain valves, Electrical entrances, disconnects, areas serviced. Load capacity, load used, gos entrances their shut offs areas serviced load levels. Water entrances and main runs. Sewer line locations and path.

8. Must have good communications techniques to be able to communicate with outside technical sources, and within the organization.

9. Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision.

10. Responsible for wearing all required PPE and following applicable safety/environmental rules.

11. Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant.

Schedule:

2pm - 10:30/12:30a, training will be completed in the morning shift 5a-1:30p/3:30p

**Employee will be a temp for their first 90 days, after 90 days will be evaluated based on attendance, performance & overall safeness may become a permanent employee. All applicants must pass a background check & drug test (marijuana is included). Also, please make sure your resume is update**

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
