As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors with a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting concerns, and coordinating with on-site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observations promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems according to site-specific policies and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
