Tax Manager
Our client a rapidly growing Wealth Management Firm in Flagstaff, AZ, expanding their services to include Tax Preparation for their clients. Thie firm is seeking an experienced Tax Practice Manager to lead this new area, focusing on client relationships, tax strategy, and efficient practice management.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Engagement : Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice.
- Tax Preparation: Oversee individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process Optimizatio n: Standardize workflows, leverage technology to improve processes, and enhance client experience.
- Cross-Trainin g: Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates.
- Bookkeeping Services: Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records
Qualifications:
- Education/License: CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master in taxation a plus
- Experience: 5+ years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients.
- Skills: Proficient in tax technology and software; strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
