Senior Front End Engineer

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Senior UI Engineer to take ownership of the end-to-end user interfaces across both our mobile app and admin portal. You will be responsible for building scalable, performant, and intuitive UI components that enhance the patient and provider experience. This is a senior-level, individual contributor role designed for someone who wants to lead by technical expertise. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, accessible, and engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant UI components across mobile and web platforms.

• Translate product requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

• Define best practices and establish frameworks for scalable UI development.

• Ensure performance, accessibility, and security across all UI initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and optimize UI for maximum speed and scalability.

• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

• Stay current with emerging UI/UX frameworks and technologies to keep Drive Health at the forefront of innovation.

• Expertise in building multi-tenant applications with configurable branding, theming, and feature sets for different client deployments.

• Experience handling sensitive data (PHI/PII) with proper encryption, secure storage, and compliance best practices in mobile applications

• Implementation of secure authentication flows including OTP, token management, and session handling

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of front-end/UI engineering experience across mobile and web applications.

• Proficiency with modern frameworks such as React, React Native, or Flutter.

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and UI architecture.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software at scale.

• Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG standards).

• Ability to independently own and deliver complex UI initiatives.

Preferred:

• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries.

• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools.
